Lets get real

​You've probably just read my "about" section but now, some home truths and find out why you should choose me as your personal trainer, to achieve your future goals, big or small.

Before going on, I have a confession to make..... I do generally care too much about other peoples concerns and worries, my family and friends tell me as such all the time. That's ok though, I see that as a good quality to have if you are to be an honest and supportive personal trainer. That said, if you decide to train with me, then I hope that you find this to be the case.

Everything I have already said about myself previously is true. Getting fitter, stronger, losing weight etc is all well and good and that's why your here now. BUT I know it does not have to be at the expense of all your other "guilty pleasures"

Personally, I enjoy a full social life which may well include a few Prosecco's, cheeky Vino's and dare I say, the occasional meal out or takeaway. Oh! and I'm not blessed with the old adage, I can eat all I want and never put weight on, I wish! Maybe that explains why I do not have a lady six-pack or membership to the "Marvels Avengers"

The exercise I do for myself is completely varied, it includes weight training and cardio such as
running, spinning and simply walking, the family dog usually. Fortunately he never minds, however long or short. I think this variation is great way to exercise as it helps to avoid boredom or just getting in a rut. And yes, alongside my social life, I do also prepare and eat heathy meals but this is not a contradiction, merely sensible.

In my experience, and sorry for the cliché but life is all about balance, so if you want to enjoy life everyday, one of the best ways to achieve this is engaging in a regular exercise regime.
